Tihar Jail

by Multiple Artists

Tihar Jail, the largest prison complex in South Asia, houses over 14,000 inmates, including some of the country's most notorious criminals. It actively engages in outreach, rehabilitation, and education. The St+art Tihar project aimed to amplify inmates' voices and restore humanity to the region. It involved two main components: offering art workshops for inmates to create murals within the prison and enhancing the exterior wall to make the area more welcoming.
