Untitled: SB Marg

Envisioned by Studio Pod Global for Nucleus Office Parks, St+art India recreates the cultural history of the Senapati Bapat Marg Flyover area, paying tribute to Mumbai's evolving landscape. Monotone illustrations on the flyover reflect the area's rich traditions—cotton mills, corporate parks, Indo-Saracenic architecture, heritage chawls, street vendors, and more, with flowers evoking the Dadar flower market. Undertaken in 2021, the project was curated by @hanifkureshi, designed by @akashalankar & @kshetrimayumjohnso, and painted by @sadhale_v_r & Team. Like other St+art projects, it reimagines urban design, creates open access to art, and engages with the local community.
