Katha Crazy Twins

by Harsh Raman

Harsh Raman reimagined Kathakali, a traditional South Indian dance form, by incorporating 90s pop culture elements like Pac-Man, a stereo system, a vinyl player, and Batman to appeal to both local and global audiences. As the mural developed, local children were inspired by its playful design and participated in painting. Harsh left the lower part of the characters' bodies as a chalkboard, allowing kids to draw and feel connected to the Lodhi Art District.
