The "Wall of Harmony" mural, spanning 24,000 sq.ft. on the Secretariat boundary wall in Itanagar, marks Arunachal Pradesh’s 50th anniversary. Created by St+art India Foundation with the Government of Arunachal Pradesh and Asian Paints, it reflects the state’s journey since its 1972 renaming from NEFA, celebrating its heritage and community spirit.
Under the theme "Celebrating Past and Nurturing Future," the mural features historical milestones, cultural symbols, and natural elements. It includes the renaming of NEFA, Tawang Monastery, tribal crafts, flora and fauna, and infrastructure developments. Key figures like Verrier Elwin and Daying Ering, and events such as the first aircraft landing in Ziro, were depicted with guidance from Dr Ashan Riddi for historical accuracy. As Northeast India’s largest panoramic mural, the "Wall of Harmony" embodies St+art India Foundation’s goal to democratise art and transform public spaces, providing Itanagar with a vibrant tribute to Arunachal’s legacy.
