Untitled: David Cross

David Cross is an artist, writer, and curator located in Melbourne, Australia. Engaging with performance, installation, video, and photography, Cross explores the connections between pleasure, the grotesque, and the phobic. His performance and installation works, ranging from small to large scale, aim to integrate and expand contemporary ideas about participation, connecting performance art with object-based settings. Frequently using his own body as a focal point, he utilises a variety of objects, many of which are inflatable, to involve audiences in potentially unforeseen situations and dialogues. He joined us at Lodhi Art District in 2019.
