Untitled: Senkoe

As part of the Donate a Wall project in Chennai, Mexican artist Senkoe created two murals celebrating Tamil Nadu’s biodiversity and cultural heritage on a TN government school. These vibrant murals merge nature with traditional motifs, highlighting interconnectedness and sustainability. The first mural features a colourful deer with intricate patterns and floral designs, symbolising harmony between nature and culture. The deer’s antlers become a tree, surrounded by butterflies and birds, representing Tamil Nadu’s diverse fauna and the beauty of biodiversity. The second mural showcases a kaleidoscopic hummingbird amid flora and fauna, framed by symmetrical patterns and vivid hues. It reflects the balance and interconnectedness of ecosystems, celebrating nature's resilience and vibrancy, and emphasizing environmental stewardship.
