‘Today’ is the artist’s tribute to Kannagi Nagar and its residents, who celebrate life's small moments and embody the maxim ‘live each day to the fullest’. The mural depicts people standing tall, symbolizing neighborhood pride, and uses perspective and scale to create a maze-like depth. This represents both the community's diversity and the locality's complex geography of over 24,000 tenements.
