The Palimpsest of Emotion

Sajid Wajid Shaikh’s mural explores themes of memory, nostalgia, and hope, transforming everyday items into symbols of human emotion. The artwork invites viewers to view ordinary objects as vessels of personal history, evoking introspection and a deeper connection to the material aspects of life that shape us. It stands as a contemplative piece, blending the tangible with the intangible amidst Ukkadam’s urban landscape.
