The Dark Side of White Salt

One Stroke's mural pays tribute to salt farmers, featuring an image by photographer Ranga Prasad of a salt miner in Marakkanam, a major salt-producing area near Chennai. This artwork honors India's unsung heroes who work in harsh conditions with little protection. Using a monochrome palette, One Stroke emphasizes the physical hardships and sun exposure of salt farming, while hyperrealism highlights the salt farmer's crucial role in the state's economy and communities.
