Reko is an interdisciplinary artist who explores his Aboriginal identity through contemporary media, paying tribute to the Kamilaroi people, one of Australia's largest indigenous tribes. Using traditional geometric patterns, he engages in dialogue about indigenous culture and identity in urban settings. His work has been showcased internationally in Paris, Berlin, Italy, Jakarta, Shanghai, and the USA. Reko collaborated with Indian painters, engaging with local communities and traditions. His art juxtaposes cultural references, blending Kamilaroi geometric patterns with contemporary New York graffiti, combining pop art and geometric abstraction.
