Dreams of India

Gabriel Reese, known as Gabriel Specter, is a Canadian-American contemporary artist who works with murals, paintings, prints, and installations. His distinctive hand-painted works are found globally, from Latin America to Moscow. Specter's art often portrays everyday life and explores themes like immigrant workers, homelessness, and gentrification.

This mural invites viewers into a spiritual passage where India's diverse religions momentarily unite. Painted curtains reveal a gateway around the central arch, linking reality and a dreamscape, connecting consciousness to the subconscious. This landscape enhances Lodhi's architecture, creating a visual that challenges perspective and appears endless.
