Colors of the Soul
by Senkoe
Senkoe began painting on the streets of Mexico City, inspired by nature. He prefers working on walls in wide avenues, whether textured or smooth, and is fascinated by aged, cracked surfaces. Birds, symbols of diversity and freedom across cultures, often feature in his work. One notable piece in the art district showcases vibrant artwork symbolizing the area's diverse population. Senkoe incorporates the architecture of Lodhi into his art, transforming a central arch into a bird's nest. His patterns blend Indian and Mexican motifs, highlighting cultural similarities. The background's clay-like texture emphasizes the significance of traditions and artisanal practices in both countries.
